On the Filipino side of my family we eat noodles on our birthday for long life. I don't even know if it's a Filipino thing, but I know it's a Chinese thing. It shouldn't be too hard to get some spaghetti in for dinner tonight :)
Happy Birthday, Claire! Or as they say in Cantonese (I think), Sun Yat Fai Lok! Enjoy the videos, the first is of the traditional birthday song in Cantonese and the second is basically our US version of Happy Birthday in Cantonese. The little girl is just too freakin cute!
