Holiday season is making me homesick!

Well, it's official. Christmas has hit Hong Kong. The decorations are up and I'm realizing there is a 95% chance I am spending Thanksgiving without my family and most importantly, without Mike :( I know I am not discussing work on this blog, but the work is abundant and progresses slowly. There is a lot to be done and I need to finish what I came here to do which means another two weeks.

I'm having a great time, as you can tell, but I do miss my house and my routine and my Mike! My body hates me because of the lack of sleep, lack of exercise and abundance of eating out and drinking (yikes). When I return to Boston I will be five months (oh crap) away from my wedding, which I still need to finish planning!! Oy, I can't think of that right now. OK, no more complaining. That was my one post about homesickness and missing my family. This really is an opportunity of a lifetime personally and professionally. I am very lucky that I get to see my family as often as I do because there are lots of people, especially in our armed forces, who spend months and years away from theirs! I don't know how they do it, especially during this time of year!!
