Peking Garden

By far the best meal we've had in Hong Kong so far! As previously mentioned, Peking Garden has locations in Kowloon and Alexandria House where we went. As soon as we were seated we were welcomed by the awesome noodle display you have probably seen in a previous post. Seriously, I cannot get over how incredible that was. Look how small those noodles became! Smaller than vermecelli for sure. If this isn't proof that the Chinese invented pasta, I don't know what is!

Check out how beautiful the china is. They were changed which each course, but thought I'd take a picture because it was so nice.

Our dinner was AMAZING. I think we would all agree it was our favorite so far. Peking Garden is obviousy known for their peking duck so we ordered one. You can see them displayed on the white duck platters. The duck was delicious. We ate the pieces of duck rolled in the pancake you see on the table along with some hoison sauce, scalliion and celery. Really delicious. We also ordered the whole fried sweet and sour fish which was phenomenal! It was crunchy and flavorful with the tang and sweetness of sweet and sour. Along with that we had a few dim sum items beforehand including some dumplings and springrolls. You can see that we also had some scallop and egg white fried rice, really yummy! On our table you'll also notice a little dish of pickled items. That's the dish they send out before we even order anything. It is filled with cucumbers and tofu pickled in a sweetness and flavored with ginger.

Overall a wonderful dining experience and one of the best times we've had so far. The pasta presentation definitely took the cake and I still can't believe how incredible that was!
